The Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation is taking various measures to control the corona virus (COVID-19) and to prevent its spread. Accordingly, private hospitals have been acquired for the admission and treatment of corona infected / suspected patients. Corona, who went to the Soumya Hospital in Chunabhatti for treatment, is charging Rs.
The Government of Maharashtra has leased land in many places to Soumaiya Trust on a lease basis of one rupee. Soumaiya Ayurvedic Hospital Engineering College, Medical College has been set up at Evarard Nagar in Soumaiya Chunabhatti area. As the city of Mumbai is growing day by day, the municipal hospitals are filled with coronary patients. Therefore, the Government of Maharashtra Several private hospitals have been ordered to treat corona patients. They have started treatment on coronary artery disease with caution.
Suspected patients in Soumaiya Hospital have to pay Rs.5000 / – to Rs.21,000 / – while ICU patients have to pay Rs.31,000 / – for one day rent for Vetilator, General Ward, Special Ward. Many have gone home after paying rent and some have gone to the municipal hospital for treatment.
The Hindavi Samrajya Sena has demanded the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray and the Health Minister of Maharashtra Shri Rajesh Tope to revoke the permission of the hospital and take action against the hospital as it charges Rs.
